The Trintella 47 was the first yacht from the Dutch Shipyard to be designed by Ron Holland.  She was Newport boat show boat of the year in 2002.  All systems, from the modern sail plan, Leisure Furl main, all-electric winches in the cockpit, self-tacking jib, and cockpit layout with hard dodger, were designed and specified to ease handling for a small crew.  All lines from the mast run through Inox (SS) tubing to the cockpit, which doubles as handrails and attachment points for jack lines port and starboard.  The hull received a new gelcoat in 2017 with special extra fine gelcoat making a long-lasting polished hull.  It hasn’t needed polishing since then.

Similarly, the below-deck arrangement is comfortable and modeled for extended offshore passage-making and live-aboard comfort. It has stand-up showers that are good at sea, and air conditioning and heating fore and aft. The heating and air run on a Northern Lights 8 kw generator with 2029 hours. Finding a walk-in engine room with workbench in a yacht of this size is remarkable. The dinghy is an AB hypalon with aluminum floor, supported in Simpson-Lawrence stainless davits.  All systems have been constantly upgraded.

Moreover, the owners generously include a complete set of equipment, including an extensive list of spares, extra max-prop propellor, tools, galley gear, and more. DAWNPIPER is truly as turn-key as one could wish for.
