The interior of the ships has a lot in common with the 38 but there are more beds in front of the mast. The 44/45 is the last boat the wharf build with a fixed keel. Just like the 38 and the older Trintella's e.g. the III and IV the 44/45 is a very heavy and strong boat. How strong.? One of them survived a 4th category hurricane in 1983.
